Punjab Government Calls For Applications For Stenography Training For Sc Graduate Youth : Dr. Baljit Kaur

Free Course For Sc Graduates, Last Date For Submission Of Applications Is 20th August

Chandigarh : The Government of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously making efforts for the development of Scheduled Castes. Under the same series, applications are invited till 20th August 2023 to provide one year free training to eligible graduate candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of Punjab State for training in Punjabi Stenography in training centres run by Department of Language, Punjab at district level.
Divulging in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste and be a resident of Punjab state. Only unemployed candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes with minimum educational qualification of Graduation and 10th passed with Punjabi subject can avail the benefit of this scheme.
The Cabinet Minister said that eligible candidates who fulfill the prescribed conditions related to Scheduled Castes should submit their application in the prescribed proforma to the concerned District Language Officer and Assistant Director, Language Department, Punjab, Government College, Phase-6, SAS Nagar.
They can send attested copies of their certificates and current passport size photograph in proforma till 20 August 2023.She further informed that the candidate should attend the interview along with their original certificates in the office of the District Language Officer of the concerned district on 28 August 2023 till 09:00 AM.
Baljit Kaur further informed that Punjabi Stenography training to be given in the centres conducted by the Department of Language, Punjab at district level training centres established by the Department of Language at Patiala, Sangrur, Jalandhar, Rupnagar and Chandigarh (Campus Phase-6, SAS Nagar).
There are a total of 80 seats in these training centres, out of which 20 seats are available for the centre running in Chandigarh (campus at SAS Nagar) and 15-15 seats each in other centres.The minister said that Selected candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 250 per month.
Proforma for admission to training in Punjabi Stenography (Language Department) is available on the Department’s website www.welfare.punjab.gov.in.
