Ensure timely completion of development projects- DC Sakshi Sawhney to officers

Ludhiana : Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney held a review meeting on Tuesday to assess the progress of various development projects undertaken by different departments in the district. The Deputy Commissioner checked the physical and financial status of the projects, which included the construction of community halls, renovation of ponds, building of new libraries, carpeting of new roads and streets, and setting up Aam Aadmi Clinics in various parts of the district.
The officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the current situation and achievements of the ongoing projects. The DC instructed the officials to expedite the speed of all ongoing works to ensure completion within the given timeframe. She further asked them to utilize all available resources to get the work done without any hindrances, so that people could benefit from the developmental projects.
Sawhney also emphasized the need for better coordination between departments to resolve developmental bottlenecks. She also reiterated that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, was making strenuous efforts for the development of Ludhiana and every official must discharge their duties with full sincerity and diligence.
Prominent officials present at the meeting included Assistant Commissioner Krishna Pal Rajpoot, SDMs Gurbir Singh Kohli and Vikas Hira, DDPO Navdeep Kaur, Civil Surgeon Dr Jasbir Singh Aulakh, and others.

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਹਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ, ਛੱਪੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ, ਨਵੀਂ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ, ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੌਤਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜਲਦ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲ ਸਕੇ। ਸਾਹਨੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਅੜਿੱਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਲ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ, ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੀਰਾ, ਡੀ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਓ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਡਾ. ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਲਖ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
