About Four Lakh residents benefited from the services given by the Aam Aadmi clinics in the district, says DC Ashika Jain

The Deputy Commissioner visited the Aam Aadmi Clinic at Mullanpur Garibdass

S.A.S Nagar : As many as 398,608 residents of the district Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar have benefited from the services given by the Aam Aadmi Clinics set up in the district so far, said Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, here, today.
Reviewing the quality of health services being provided to the people at AAC Mullanpur Garibdass on Thursday, the deputy commissioner said that the idea behind the establishing these clinics by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was to provide quality health services close to their proximity and the people feeling the facility as very handy.
She said that out of these examined persons, 46415 patients have availed the facility of free lab tests too. She said that a total of 34 Aam Aadmi clinics are working in the district, presently.
While interacting with the patients who had visited the clinic, she took suggestions from them for further improvement in the clinic. She visited different rooms of the clinic and patients waiting for OPD. Apart from that, she also inspected services, cleanliness, and medical equipment.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the doctors of the clinic too and asked them about the health facilities available in the clinic. Mrs. Ashika Jain said that the purpose of her visit was to monitor the working of the Aam Aadmi Clinic and the health facilities being provided to the people.
She said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics opened at different places in the district are proving to be a boon for the people in terms of providing quality and proper health facilities. She said that people are very enthusiastic about these centers and more and more people are coming for examination and treatment.
She said that she is satisfied with the cleanliness in this clinic and people while talking to him expressed their satisfaction with the medical facilities provided here. Mrs. Jain said that all the facilities like examination, treatment, distribution of medicines, etc. are completely free in Aam Aadmi clinics and various medical lab tests are also being done free of cost.
The Deputy Commissioner told the health officials that the patients coming to the Aam Aadmi Clinics should not face any kind of problem and serious and elderly patients should be given priority. On this occasion, Dr Solini and and Dr Rajwinder Kaur were also present.
