DC Ashika Jain Boosts the Morale of Meritorious Students of Class 10 and 10+2 of Govt Schools

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar : In a worth emulating gesture today, District Administration, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar felicitated 16 meritorious students of Government Schools, who had excelled in recently declared Class 10 and 10+2 exams of the Punjab School Education Board. While interacting with these students, the Deputy Commissioner got nostalgic and shared her moments of happiness, when way back, she had passed Class 10 in 2007.
She said that distinction in marks/grades boost morale and inspire us to go ahead by facing challenges. Wishing them a bright future ahead, she said that every student should be ambitious in his/her goal so that he/she could achieve the desirous level of success, may it be a doctor, may it be a civil servant or what they want to be in their life.
She said that sometimes the numbers do not matter but our brilliance and personality fly us high to achieve a huge success, so we should focus on our goal without feeling any complexity or inferiority concerning competition. Congratulating the teachers of the meritorious students and parents accompanying them today at the District Administrative complex, she said the credit goes to all of them for imparting a good education that led to meritorious positions.
She said that it is a matter of pride that out of these 13 students of Class 10+2, 10 students belong to meritorious schools that got merit positions. She expressed happiness over the improvement in state rankings of class 10+2, 10th and 8th.
The state ranking of District in 10+2 remained 6th with a 95.50 per cent pass percentage, in class 10, 13th with a 97.9 per cent pass percentage and 10th in class 8 with a pass percentage of 98.50 per cent. She said expressed happiness over the performance of 20 government school students who have qualified JEE Mains.
Motivating them to follow the right path, avoid shortcuts and focus on long-term goals without getting distracted, the deputy commissioner also specifically thanked their teachers for their invaluable contribution to nation-building. She shared her email ID with the students for any help and send feedback in future if they want her intervention.
District Education Officer (Secondary) Satnam Singh Bathh, Deputy DEO Angrej Singh, and Principals of the schools were also present when the meritorious students were given medals by the Deputy Commissioner.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ 10ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 10+2 ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ 16 ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਂ-ਪੱਖੀ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੈਡਲਾਂ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਪਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੁਦ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ 10ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਕ/ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਮਨੋਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਜਵਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਅਭਿਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਵੈਂਟ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਛੁਕ ਪੱਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਪਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉੱਚਾ ਮੁਕਾਮ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਟਿਲਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਹੀਣਤਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਟੀਚੇ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਨਾ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ 10+2 ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 13 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 10 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮੈਰੀਟੋਰੀਅਸ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਪੁਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ 10+2, 10ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 8ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਰੈਂਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ। 10+2 ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਰੈਂਕਿੰਗ 95.50 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਪਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 6ਵੇਂ, 10ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ 97.9 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਪਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ ਨਾਲ 13ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 8ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ 98.50 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਪਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤਤਾ ਨਾਲ 10ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ 20 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੇ ਈ ਈ ਮੇਨਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੈ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਮਾਰਗ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ, ਸ਼ਾਰਟਕੱਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਲਿਤ ਹੋਏ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਟੀਚਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਏ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਈਮੇਲ ਆਈਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਫੀਡਬੈਕ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਣ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੋਣਹਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਡਲ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ (ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ) ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਡੀਈਓ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
