Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana, Launches Special Poster Dedicated On International Mother Language Day

Ludhiana : To acknowledge the importance of International Mother Language Day, within Ludhiana District, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma IAS, launched a special poster depicting the importance of Mother Language, prepared by City Lawyer & Author Harpreet Sandhu. The Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana, while launching the poster stated that, “We all need to promote our Mother Language Punjabi as it is a well known fact that education as a basic right can be implemented only if it is imparted through the mother language, as it contribute towards building inclusive knowledge of societies; preserving cultural heritage and play an important role to keep the youth deep rooted to its Mother language”.The special designed poster carries the meaningful quote of the famous International fame writer Nelson Mandela, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.
