Mohali Police traced the TERRORIST MODULE and arrested 03 accused with 06 foreign Pistols and 275 alive Cartridges

Nagar : Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Roopnagar Range, Roopnagar while giving information to the press said that under the directions issued by Hon’ble Director General Police, Punjab, under the supervision of Dr Sandeep Kumar Garg, IPS, SSP, SAS Nagar, operation led by Sh. Amandeep Singh Brar, PPS, SP (Investigation), Sh. Gursher Singh Sandhu, PPS, DSP (Investigation) and Insp. Shiv Kumar, I/C CIA Staff, SAS Nagar achieved significant success in tracing the TERRORIST MODULE related to Babbar Khalsa international have acquired.

Sh. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS, while giving further information said that the accused Harvinder Singh @ Hinda s/o Charan Singh resident of Nanded Maharashtra, who belongs to BKI (Babbar Khalsa International) an organization banned by the government of India and is currently in Pakistan in Association with ISI, It is trying to disrupt the unity and integrity of the country carrying out Anti National terrorist activities in the state of Punjab and other parts of India.

While tracing the related terrorist module 3 accused namely Shakeel Ahmed,  Lovepreet Singh @ Lambhu @ Sandhu and Saroop Singh @ Roop @ Ghula have been arrested and one of their accomplice Nirvair Singh @ Sehajpreet Singh @ Sunny has already been arrested.

While investigation, It has come to light that foreign weapons have been smuggled in their possession were deliver to Punjab through drones from the borders. There was a plan to kill a person under threat in a big city of Punjab with the use of foreign weapons and break the unrest of Punjab.

In this regard a case FIR no. 184 dated 21.10.2023 u/s 121,153,120B IPC, 25(7),(8)-54-59 Arms Act (Amendment 2019) and  17,18,18B & 20 Unlawful Activity (Prevention) Act 1967, PS Baloungi, SAS Nagar has been registered and investigation is being carried out. Saroop Singh @ Roop @ Ghula s/o Tarsem Singh r/o Vill Kotha, PS Dera Baba Nanak, Distt Gurdaspur

Nirvair Singh @ Sehajpreet Singh @ Sunny s/o Malkiat Singh r/o Vill Kotha, PS Dera Baba Nanak, Distt Gurdaspur (Note : A case FIR no. 120 dated 10.09.2023 u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Khuyian Sarwar, Distt Fazilka has registered against the above said accused, in which the accused has been arrested from Delhi Airport.)
