Balbir Singh Sidhu lays the foundation stone of development works to the tune of 1.08 crore

S.A.S. Nagar :  Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu laid the foundation stone of development works in various sectors of the city. Development works like installation of paver blocks, repair of manholes and desilting of sewer line etc will be carried out with Rs. 1.08 crore . While addressing the gathering Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that under the able leadership of Captain Amrinder Singh no stone has been left unturned for the development of urban as well as rural areas of the State. Reiterating his commitment towards the development of his constituency, Mr Sidhu said that despite challenge posed by the pandemic requisite funds for development would be made available.The details of funds sanctioned for development works initiated today include Rs. 11.97 lakh for the construction of RCC Chajja on the shops of Palika Market, Phase-11, Rs. 31.14 Lakh for installation of paver blocks in Mundi Complex, Sector- 70, Rs. 6.13 Lakh for repair of manhole and desilting of Sewer line in Mundi Complex, Sector 70, Rs.14 lakh for laying of paver blocks and other miscellaneous works in the streets of W.no-44, Sector-71, Rs.13.13 Lakh for the development of parks in W.no 44, Sector- 71 and Rs.32.10 Lakh for installation of paver blocks in Baba Deep Singh Nagar, Sohana.Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that Development works worth Rs. 4.40 crore are already going on for the internal development of the residential societies.Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Kamal Kumar Garg, Local Government Chief Engineer, Mukesh Garg, XEN Narinder Singh Dalam were also present on the occasion.
