It is Congress Versus Rest in Punjab : Amrinder Singh Raja Warring
Party Will Break All Past Records In State Claims Raja Warring

Ludhiana : Punjab Congress president and party’s candidate from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today asserted that the Congress will break all the past records of Lok Sabha elections in Punjab.
In an informal interaction with reporters along the sidelines of his election meetings here today, the PCC president observed that in Punjab it was “Congress versus the rest”. He claimed that only the Congress had pan-Punjab presence while all other parties were just marginal players with very limited scope and influence.
Replying to a question on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party’s chances, he said, 2022 was just an aberration and one time wonder. “Most of the AAP candidates, including the one in Ludhiana may not be able to even save their security deposits”, he said, adding that AAP has, otherwise also, performed miserably in all Lok Sabha elections including in Delhi, where the party came a poor third in five of the seven parliamentary constituencies in 2019.
“In Punjab AAP may go further down than 2019”, he remarked, while pointing out, “it lost security deposit in 12 of the 13 parliamentary constituencies in the state last time”.Warring said, while the Shiromani Akali Dal had already touched its nadir, the BJP was a small-time marginal player, with sporadic pockets of influence. They may be able to win a few seats in Municipal Corporation elections and that is all.
The PCC president said that he did not want to comment any more on the BJP candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu since his time was already up. “Yes, we did speak about him initially because we need to tell people how he had betrayed the party and his supporters”, he said, while observing, at best Bittu is like any other candidate in the fray rather the weakest of all, as a rolling stone gathers no moss.
