Amarinder Singh Raja Warring ‘feels bad’ for ‘friend’, Bittu over being ‘discarded, disowned’ by BJP

Ludhiana : Punjab Congress president and party candidate from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today said that he really felt bad for his “friend” Ravneet Singh Bittu for having been completely “discarded and disowned” by his new party the Bharatiya Janata Party in the midst of the General Elections.
Addressing a series of public meetings in different parts of the Ludhiana parliamentary constituency here today, Warring disclosed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had cancelled their Ludhiana programmes after getting the intelligence feedback that Bittu was losing badly.
He expressed confidence that the Congress was much ahead of all other parties everywhere in Punjab, including Ludhiana, which he said, was the party’s stronghold for a long time. He reiterated his claims that the BJP was completely disillusioned with its candidate Bittu as he was badly faring in the race.
He claimed that was the reason that Prime Minister Modi and the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi had cancelled their Ludhiana programmes after having got the intelligence feedback that Bittu was not just losing the race, but also forefeting his security deposit. “Naturally no Prime Minister would like to address a rally in support of a candidate he knows is losing even his security deposit”, he observed.
The PCC president claimed that he had been proved right as he had earlier also said that Bittu had proved to be such a great disappointment for the BJP that the party had even thought of replacing him before the elections. “Now, with Modi and Yogi skipping his events, it has been reaffirmed beyond any doubt that the BJP has discarded and disowned Bittu much before the voting”, he said.
Reaffirms guarantees, commitments
The PCC president reaffirmed his party’s guarantees at the national level, besides his own commitments for the progress and development of Ludhiana.He said, while the free ration for the poor will be doubled, they will also receive Rs 8500 every month.He said farmers’ debt will be waived off and there will be a legal guarantee for the MSP of their crops, fixed on the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission.
On Ludhiana, he reiterated that the city will be rebuilt and redeveloped so that it actually looks like the Manchester city of the UK, as the city is described as Manchester of India for its hosiery industry. He said Ludhiana provides maximum tax revenue to the state and the centre and there is no reason why the city should not get special attention in return in terms of progress and development.

पंजाब कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष और लुधियाना संसदीय क्षेत्र से पार्टी उम्मीदवार अमरिंदर सिंह राजा वड़िंग ने कहा है कि उन्हें अपने ‘मित्र’ रवनीत सिंह बिट्टू के लिए वास्तव में बुरा लग रहा है, क्योंकि आम चुनावों के बीच में उनकी नई पार्टी भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने उन्हें पूरी तरह से छोड़ दिया है और उनसे किनारा कर लिया है।
लुधियाना संसदीय क्षेत्र के विभिन्न हिस्सों में जनसभाओं को संबोधित करते हुए, वड़िंग ने खुलासा किया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने लुधियाना में अपने कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिए थे, क्योंकि उन्हें खुफिया जानकारी मिली थी कि बिट्टू बुरी तरह हार रहे हैं।
उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि लुधियाना सहित पंजाब में हर जगह कांग्रेस अन्य सभी पार्टियों से काफी आगे है, जो कि लंबे समय से पार्टी का गढ़ रहा है।उन्होंने अपने दावों को दोहराया कि भाजपा अपने उम्मीदवार बिट्टू से पूरी तरह निराश है, क्योंकि वह दौड़ में खराब प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने दावा किया कि यही कारण है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने लुधियाना में अपने कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिए थे, क्योंकि उन्हें खुफिया जानकारी मिली थी कि बिट्टू न केवल दौड़ हार रहे हैं, बल्कि अपनी जमानत भी गंवा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “स्वाभाविक रूप से कोई भी प्रधानमंत्री ऐसे उम्मीदवार के समर्थन में रैली को संबोधित नहीं करना चाहेगा, जिसके बारे में उसे पता है कि वह अपनी जमानत भी गंवा रहा है।”
प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने दावा किया कि वह सही साबित हुए हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने पहले भी कहा था कि बिट्टू भाजपा के लिए इतना बड़ा निराशा साबित हुए हैं कि पार्टी ने चुनाव से पहले उसे बदलने के बारे में भी सोचा था। उन्होंने कहा, “अब, मोदी और योगी के उनके कार्यक्रमों में शामिल न होने से यह बात फिर से पुष्टि हो गई है कि भाजपा ने मतदान से बहुत पहले ही बिट्टू को त्याग दिया है और उनसे नाता तोड़ लिया है।”
प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने लुधियाना की प्रगति और विकास के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धताओं के अलावा राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी पार्टी की गारंटियों की पुष्टि की। उन्होंने कहा कि गरीबों को मिलने वाला मुफ्त राशन दोगुना किया जाएगा, साथ ही उन्हें हर महीने 8500 रुपये भी मिलेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों का कर्ज माफ किया जाएगा और स्वामीनाथन आयोग की सिफारिशों के आधार पर उनकी फसलों के एमएसपी की कानूनी गारंटी तय की जाएगी।
लुधियाना के बारे में उन्होंने दोहराया कि शहर का पुनर्निर्माण और विकास किया जाएगा, ताकि यह वास्तव में ब्रिटेन के मैनचेस्टर शहर जैसा दिखे, क्योंकि शहर को होजरी उद्योग के लिए भारत का मैनचेस्टर कहा जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि लुधियाना राज्य और केंद्र को अधिकतम कर राजस्व प्रदान करता है और कोई कारण नहीं है कि शहर को प्रगति और विकास के मामले में विशेष ध्यान न दिया जाए।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ‘ਦੋਸਤ’ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੁਰਾ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਤਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਯੋਗੀ ਆਦਿਤਿਆਨਾਥ ਨੇ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਅਵਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਯੋਗੀ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੌੜ ਹਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਵੀ ਗੁਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੈਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਮਾਨਤ ਵੀ ਜਬਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ”।
ਸੂਬਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਹੀ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਲਈ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੁਣ, ਮੋਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗੀ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧ ਤੋੜ ਲਏ ਹਨ।”
ਸੂਬਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਾਰੰਟੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਫਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਗਣਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ 8500 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਾਰੰਟੀ ਸਵਾਮੀਨਾਥਨ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਮੁੜ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਨਚੈਸਟਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਜ਼ਰੀ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਮਾਨਚੈਸਟਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਸੂਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਟੈਕਸ ਮਾਲੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
