After Malwa, it is Doaba’s turn to defeat AAP : MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary

Phillaur : Exhorting the voters of Jalandhar Parliamentary constituency to teach a lesson to the Aam Aadmi Party for its spectacular failures within one year of tenure, MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary said on Tuesday that after its defeat in the Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency of Malwa, it was now the turn of Doaba’s voters to do the same.
He was addressing election meetings in Bir Bansian, Rurka Kalan, Rajgomal and Bundala villages of the Phillaur assembly constituency. He said the people of Punjab had given historic mandate to the AAP in the last year’s assembly elections, but within three months, it again made history by losing the Lok Sabha vacated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
“I don’t think any political party has lost the people’s confidence so quickly, especially after receiving such a historic mandate. It is a testament to the Sangrur voters’ wisdom that they realized their mistake instantaneously and rectified it within three months.
Because of the unfortunate demise of Late Chaudhary Santokh Singh Ji, the same responsibility has now fallen upon the people of Jalandhar,” MLA Chaudhary said.He further stated that the people of Punjab have realized that the AAP built castles in the air before the assembly elections and have now failed to deliver on their so-called guarantees.
“On 10th May, the people of Jalandhar constituency will vote for Congress candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary Ji and pay tribute to their beloved leader, Late Santokh Singh Chaudhary Ji,” he added.
