MP Sanjeev Arora reviews upgradation plans for Ludhiana Civil Hospital

Expresses hope for transform the civil hospital into a world-class medical facility

Ludhiana : MP (Rajya Sabha) Sanjeev Arora today convened a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, Civil Surgeon Dr Jasbir Singh Aulakh, ADC (Rural Development) Anmol Dhaliwal and SMOs Dr Mandeep Kaur Sidhu and Dr Deepika Goyal and other concerned to review upgradation plans for Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.
Representatives from TR Lifesciences and Crescentia India, two leading healthcare and infrastructure companies, were also present at the meeting to share their insights from a medical and infrastructure perspective. During the meeting, Arora discussed the need for upgradation of the Civil Hospital, which is one of the busiest healthcare facilities in Punjab.
He stressed the importance of improving medical facilities, infrastructure, and hygiene standards at the hospital. The representatives from TR Lifesciences headed by Rakesh Daggar and Crescentia India headed by Mohit presented their recommendations for improving the hospital, based on their detailed assessments.
They suggested measures such as upgrading medical equipment, expanding bed capacity, and improving sanitation facilities. Arora appreciated the suggestions made by the healthcare and infrastructure experts and directed Civil Surgeon to prepare a detailed plan for the upgradation of the Civil Hospital. He assured them of his full support in implementing the plan.
The today’s meeting was in continuation to the previous meeting held under the guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on November 20 last years. He had assured that the upgradation of Civil Hospital, Ludhiana will be started soon. Among others, ACS Dr Vivek Kataria and Mass media Officer Rajinder Singh were present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Arora said the meeting was a positive step towards improving the healthcare facilities in Ludhiana. He hoped that the development plan will be implemented soon so that the people of Ludhiana can benefit from better healthcare services. Further, Arora said, “The Civil Hospital, Ludhiana is a lifeline for lakhs of people in the region especially the downtrodden.
It is important that we upgrade the facilities and services at the hospital to meet the growing needs of the community. I am confident that with the cooperation of all stakeholders, we will be able to transform the Civil Hospital into a world-class medical facility.”
