Agriculture And Farmers’ Welfare Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal Inspects Crop Damage In Ghanour And Rajpura Constituency

Chandigarh : In consonance with guidelines of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal visited various villages of Rajpura and Ghanour constituencies in Patiala district today to inspect the crops damaged due to heavy rain and storm.

During his visit to Mirjapur, Bhappal, Khedi Gandyan, Dhredi Jattan, Nandgarh, Basmaa and Khedi villages, Dhaliwal issued order to the officials to ascertain the losses suffered by farmers by conducting special Girdawari soon so that the compensation amount can be released on time.

He said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has already announced that the Punjab government stands fully with the farmers and the farmers will be compensated for the loss due to unseasonal rain very soon.
On this occasion, Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal and officials of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department were present.
