Mohali : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained momentum in Mohali when a social worker, who played an important role in the health sector, former senior medical officer (SMO) Dr Daler Singh Multani joined the party in the presence of state incharge and Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh on Wednesday. Agreeing with the pro-people and public support policies of AAP,  Dr Daler Singh Multani joined AAP. Dr. Multani had been raising big issues regarding health facilities and exposed government policies while raising many big issues during the previous Akali-BJP government.He said that the steps taken by the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi, related to health services were praiseworthy. Dr Multani said that he had joined the Aam Aadmi Party after being impressed by the work being done by the Kejriwal government for the health sector. He said that whatever responsibility would be given to him, he would work towards strengthening the party with full vigor.On the occasion, party’s state incharge Jarnail Singh welcomed him and said that due to public policies of the AAP, stature of the party was increasing in the state today. He said that to build a new Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party would live up to the expectations of the people. On the occasion, party’s state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, state treasurer Neena Mittal,  Justice Zora Singh (retd), district head Parminder Singh Goldy and district secretary Prabhjot Kaur, among others were present.
