Harjot Singh Bains gives warm welcome to toppers of Class 10th and 12th government schools for attending the Assembly Session

Chandigarh : In a unique initiative, the Punjab State Education Minister Mr. Harjot Singh Bains gave a special welcome to the toppers of 10th and 12th examinations of the government schools from each district for attending the Vidhan Sabha Special Session on Tuesday.
Mr Bains gave his best wishes to all the toppers after personally welcoming them outside the Vidhan Sabha. Mr. Bains said that the topper students from all districts are a strong pillar of the government schools of the state and he envisaged a bright future for all students and advised them to continue to work hard to achieve new heights in the future.
It is pertinent to mention here that due to the initiative of the Education Minister, a total of 230 students of the state were made aware of the entire functioning of the Vidhan Sabha.The Cabinet Minister said that in the history of Punjab, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann also gave away the prize money of Rs. 51000 to the government students for bagging top positions in the board examinations.
He said that the main agenda of the government is to further bring reform in the school education system.
