Punjab Mandi Board Launches Online Platform for Farmer Registration

Mohali : In a proactive move towards modernization and improved convenience for farmers, Shri Harchand Singh Barsat, Chairman of the Punjab Mandi Board, inaugurated an online portal for registration and identity card creation under the Mandi Yojana. The launch event took place at the main office of the Punjab Mandi Board, where the Chairman actively participated in unveiling the web portal.
Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat expressed the primary objective of providing better facilities to farmers in their respective mandis. To achieve this, the Mandi Board has developed its software for efficient online registration and identity card issuance.

The Mandi Board would have comprehensive information about individuals involved in trade, making it easier to conduct business without any complications.
Chairman Barsat stated that the main purpose of initiating this online process is to directly deliver the benefits of Punjab government schemes to farmers and individuals. He assured that the Punjab government consistently stands by the farmers, working continuously towards their welfare.
On this occasion, Chief Engineer Shri Gurinder Singh Cheema, GM Estate Manjit Singh Sandhu, and GM (Marketing) Shri Swarn Singh, along with other officials and staff, were present to witness the launch of this innovative online initiative.
