Chetan Singh Joramajra inaugurats the completion of the 19 km long Boha Razwahe at a cost of Rs. 22 crores

Budhlada/Mansa : Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Maan led Punjab government is being making concrete efforts to revive the canal infrastructure in the state. These views were expressed by Minister of Water Resources and Mining, Punjab, Mr. Chetan Singh Joramajra while formally inaugurating the 19 km long Boha Razwahe at a cost of Rs. 22 crores at Budhlada sub division.
Cabinet Minister said that the completion of the Boha Razwaha Concrete Lining will greatly benefit the farmers of 40 villages of Budhlada and more than 1 lakh acres of land will get water for irrigation. Along with this, now full water will be available up to the tails.
He said that with more use of canal water, underground water can be saved. He invited the farmers of the state to take advantage of the subsidy being given by the state government on the drip irrigation system.
Cabinet Minister said that the previous governments never did anything about saving the waters of Punjab, but state government led by Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Maan is using every drop of water for the people of Punjab.
He said that canal water is more beneficial for agriculture as well as planting gardens. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the first government by which 15 thousand kilometers of canals and ditches have been constructed and handed over to the farmers in the state in 2 years.
He said that every step of Chief Minister MrBhagwant Singh Mann always thinks for the interests of Punjab and Aam Aadmi Party is the first government in the state to provide an aid amount of Rs 1 crore to the martyred jawans who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country.
He said that every promise made by the Chief Minister of Punjab to the people of the state will be fulfilled. He highly appreciated the works being done by MLA Buddh Ram for the development of the constituency.
He also listened to the problems of the people related to the department and while taking the demand letter, he assured an appropriate solution soon.Earlier, Constituency MLA Budhlada and Working President Aam Aadmi Party Principal Budh Ram welcomed the Cabinet Minister saying that there was a major demand for canal water in the constituency which is being met by the state government.
He said that very soon the waterworks will be connected with the canals to provide clean drinking water to the people of the villages, so that the people can be freed from the diseases caused by contaminated water.He said that Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state is touching heights in the field of health, education and learning and the state government is continuously providing government jobs to the youth of Punjab on the basis of educational qualification.
MLA Buddh Ram demanded from the Cabinet Minister that pipelines have been laid in 33 Moghas and pipelines should be laid in the remaining 100 Moghas this year so that full water reaches the tails.
On this occasion Chairman District Planning Committee Charanjit Singh Akkanwali, Chairman Market Committee Mansa Gurpreet Singh Bhuchar, Chairman Market Committee Budhlada Satish Singla, Chairman Market Committee Breta Chamkaur Singh, Chairman Market Committee Boha Ranjit Singh Faridke, Chairman Central Cooperative Bank District Mansa Sohan Singh Kalipur, Block President Kulwinder Singh Udal, Kaku Breta, Preet Kumar, Kewal Sharma Urban President Breta, Jagtar Singh Kangarh, District President Kisan Wing Hardev Singh, Gurdarsh Singh (Assistant MLA Budhlada) besides SE of Canal Department. Surjit Singh Bhullar, Navdeep Singh Ghuman and SDO Gurjit Singh were present.
