Industrialists & traders of Jalandhar met CM Bhagwant Mann
Discussed the issues of Jalandhar and the industry sector, businessmen extended their support to AAP for Jalandhar by-election
Jalandhar : Ahead of Jalandhar by-election, industrialists and traders of Jalandhar called upon the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President CM Bhagwant Mann. Jalandhar Industrial & traders joint action committee, in their meeting with CM Bhagwant Mann, discussed the various issues of Jalandhar, particularly of the industry sector there.
The meeting was attended by Jalandhar industrial & traders joint action committee’s convenor Gursharan Singh, general secretary Rakesh Behl, general secretary Surjit Chopra, president of Ind. Estate extension welfare society Suba Singh, Suvinder Pal Singh Virk of Punjab leather association, Gurbaksh Singh Juneja of All India Valves & Cocks Manufacturers Association and Rajesh Lamba from Hoshiarpur Road Ind. Welfare Association.
Mann apprised the industrialists and traders about the industry friendly steps taken by the AAP government. He added that he’s fully aware, that for a state to develop, industry is a major sector, it generates employment. Punjab needs new employment opportunities for our youth that is why his government is taking initiatives to promote industry in the state.
He added that the AAP government makes policies with the suggestions of the people from that particular sector. He said that the remaining issues of industrialists and traders will be addressed soon too.Industrialists, traders and businessmen looked happy after their meeting with the CM and said that it is the first time that a CM is giving his time and attention to this sector.
They applauded the Mann government’s single window initiative too. They extended their support to the Aam Aadmi Party for Jalandhar by-election saying that only the AAP is sincere in solving their problems and promoting industry in the state.
