Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Honours Outstanding Girl Students

Patiala : Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, honored the toppers of Government College for Girls, Patiala, during the annual prize distribution function of the college held on April 24, 2023.
The Chief Minister awarded a total of 11 girl students from the college, out of which 10 were given the Roll of Honor, and Amarjit Kaur, a student of B.A. III, was specially honored for representing the college in NCC. The students expressed that it was beyond their imagination to have been honoured by the Chief Minister himself.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister awarded the Roll of Honor to Sandeep Kaur for securing first place in M.A. Fine Arts by obtaining 93.1% marks. He also presented prizes to Suman Bala, who scored 92.5% in MA Dance, and Ravneet Kaur, who scored 91.9% in MA Music.They expressed their gratitude for the encouragement given by the Chief Minister, which would motivate them to work harder in life.
Other girl students who received the Roll of Honor included Manpreet Kaur, who secured 92.6% marks in B.Sc. (Biotechnology Honors), Khushpriya with 84.63% marks, Komalpreet Kaur securing 85.76% marks in B.Sc. (Home Science), B.A. Bhuwinder Kaur, who scored 84.63%, Gurmeet Kaur, who scored 84.63%, P.G.D.C.A. Jaskirat Kaur, who obtained 84.3% marks, and B.A. Jyoti, who scored 82.7% marks.
Various dignitaries were present during the ceremony, including Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, M.L.A. Ajit Pal Singh Kohli, Neena Mittal, Gurdev Singh Dev Maan, Kulwant Singh, Director Media Baltej Pannu, P.R.T.C. Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana, D.P.I. Amarpal Singh, Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University Prof. Arvind, I.G. Mukhvinder Singh Chhina, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, and the Principal of the college Charanjit Kaur.
