45th Professor Mohan Singh Memorial International Mela: Mohinder Singh Dosanjh, Avneet Kaur Sidhu, Vinod Sehgal, Agyakaar Singh and Navjot Singh Jarg honoured

Ludhiana : Member Parliament Sant Balbir Singh Seecheewal and Commissioner Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Sandeep Rishi I.A.S. today inaugurated 45th edition of Prof Mohan Singh Memorial International Mela here at Punjabi Bhawan. The event was organized by Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation in association with Punjabi Sahit Academy, North Zone Culture Centre, Vishav Punjabi Sabha Toranto, and Penzi Ikminder Singh Sandhu Welfare Society.
MP Balbir Singh Seechewal, Commissioner Ludhiana Corporation Sandeep Rishi, renowed poet Chairman Punjab Arts Counci Dr. Surjit Patar, President Punjabi Sahit Academy Ludhiana Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Johal, Pargat Singh Grewal, Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Chairman Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal, Rajiv Kumar Lovely, Amrinder Singh Jassowal, Dr. Guriqbal Singh, and other dignitaries paid floral tributes to Prof Mohan Singh.
During the event Dr. Surjit Patar threw a light on the life and work of Prof Mohan Singh besides sharing his five-year long association with him. Likewise other dignitaries provided an insight into the literary work of prof Mohan Singh and its relevance in contemporary situations. Meanwhile, Kavi Darbar was also held wherein poet Sardar Panchi, Manjit Indira, Darshan Buttar, Surinder Singh Sunnar, Balwinder Kaur Sandhu, Rajdeep Singh Toor, Gurcharan Kaur Kochar, Sukhdeep Kaur, and others participated.
During the event Vice Chancellor Punjab Agriculture University Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, President DBA Ludhiana Adv Chetan Verma, Mohinder Singh Dosanjh, Agiyakaar Singh, Vinod Sehgal, Avaneet Kaur Sidhu, Navjot Singh Mandher were felicitated by the foundation. MP Ravneet Singh Bittu honoured famous punjabi singer Pammi Bai, Jasmeen Singh Grewal and other personalities. During the event cultural presentations were also made by artists. In the end Professor Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal, Rajiv Kumar Lovely, Dr. Nirmal Singh Jaura, Amrinder Singh Jassowal, and Dr. Anil Sharma thanked all the dignitaries and associates for making this event successful.
