Two ROBs Planned to Ease Traffic Congestion in Hisar: Ranbir Gangwa
Haryana Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa said that in view of frequent traffic congestion at two railway crossings on the road from Dabra Chowk to Nirankari Bhawan Road in Hisar, a letter has been sent to the Ministry of Railways regarding the construction of two Road Over Bridges (ROBs). A Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the construction of a two-lane ROB at Railway Crossing No. 1 has already been prepared by the consultant.
For this purpose, M/S Singhal Group has been appointed. Sh. Gangwa was replying to a question asked by Hisar MLA, Smt. Savitri Jindal during the ongoing Winter Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He further informed the House that the available land width towards Dabra Chowk is varying from 14.58 meters to 15.55 meters and available land width towards Nirankari Bhawan is varying from 17.04 meters to 17.29 meters. He also informed that construction of both railway overbridges will begin after approval of the revised proposals, completion of statutory formalities, and approval from the Railway Department.
At one location, an ROB will be constructed, while at the other, an RUB will be built. A committee has been constituted for this purpose, and the Railways have been asked to commence the work within three months.
Similarly, replying to another question regarding the construction of a new road from Khark Pandwa village to Pundri Drain and alongside drain further up to Anaj Mandi, Kalayat on National Highway-52, he said that at present, there is no proposal for the construction of this road.
He informed that the total length of roads in the Kalayat Assembly constituency is 188.98 kilometers and the roads are in good condition.
