Rs. 2,583.55 Lakh Approved for Four-Lane Chuchakwas Bypass in Jhajjar

Haryana Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa informed the House during Question Hour that the Haryana Government has accorded administrative approval of Rs. 2,583.55 lakh for the construction of a new four-lane road for the Chuchakwas Bypass and the Chuchakwas–Matanhail–Bahu–Karoli Road in Jhajjar district.

Sh. Gangwa was replying to a question asked by MLA, Smt. Geeta Bhukkal during the ongoing Winter Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today. He said that a total of 26.981 acres of land is required for the construction of the new four-lane Chuchakwas Bypass. Out of this, 20.938 acres (78 percent) of land has already been purchased from landowners through the e-Bhoomi portal. 

The government has approved the acquisition of the remaining land under the Consolidation of Project Land (Special Provisions) Act, 2017, on November 14, 2025, and the process has been initiated. He also informed the House that the Central Government has recently approved the Greenfield Expressway project from Jhajjar to Charkhi Dadri up to Atela Kalan, and the Chuchakwas Bypass will also be connected to this project.
