Kulwant Singh meets GMADA CA Vishesh Sarangal to review and expedite infrastructure upgrade projects in Mohali
To accelerate the pace of development works related to GMADA in Mohali constituency, MLA Kulwant Singh today held a detailed meeting with GMADA Chief Administrator Vishesh Sarangal and other senior officials of the Authority. The meeting focused on reviewing and expediting several key road and intersection development projects in the district.
During the discussion, the MLA asked officials to commence work at the earliest on the construction of intersections on PR-7 road, including those near Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan, Sohana, the Sector 69-68/78-79 intersection, and the IISER Light Point. The matter of constructing three additional intersections along PR-7 road in the Aerocity area was also deliberated upon.
MLA Kulwant Singh also took up the issue of completing the remaining portions of the Sector 90/94 dividing road up to Landran, as well as the road connecting PGI Chandigarh to Landran via Sector 90/91. He further directed that work on widening the Kumbhra Chowk to Bawa White House road into a dual carriageway be initiated immediately, as all legal hurdles concerning the project have now been resolved.
Additionally, he instructed officials to speed up the widening work on the Golf Link to Leisure Valley road. During the meeting, the MLA reviewed the design drawings prepared by GMADA and shared his suggestions with the officials.
He assured the Authority that if support from any other department is required to execute these works efficiently, he would personally coordinate with the concerned department to ensure timely assistance. The meeting was attended by GMADA’s Chief Engineer and other officials from the Engineering Wing.
