Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh today visited the Old Town area of Doda to review the progress of the ongoing developmental works. During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of works being executed by different departments and issued on-the-spot directions for expediting pending works while adhering to prescribed standards.
He emphasized inter-departmental coordination and adherence to timelines to avoid inconvenience to the public. The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with local residents, listened to their grievances and suggestions and assured to address the issues on priority.
Officials from line departments accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit and briefed him on the status of ongoing projects and future plans in the area.
