Faridabad to be developed into a Modern City of International Standards- Vipul Goel
Haryana Revenue and Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel on Saturday inaugurated the Faridabad Flower Festival-2026 in Faridabad as the chief guest. Appreciating the efforts of officers of the Municipal Corporation Faridabad and public representatives, he said that reviving the flower festival at Town Park, which used to be organised several years ago, is a commendable initiative.
He said that the successful organisation of the programme was made possible due to the collective efforts of the Municipal Corporation team, elected representatives and various sections of society. The Minister said that the people of Faridabad are committed to the development of the city. Referring to earlier tree plantation drives, development of Town Park, Eco-Van, Namo-Van, and beautification of parks, he said that the development works approved for Town Park will bring about even more visible changes in the coming years.
He also informed that there are plans to introduce facilities such as a water canal and boating for children. Highlighting improvements in sanitation arrangements, he said that systems such as waste collection, door-to-door collection, mechanised and manual cleaning, and night sweeping are being further strengthened and the city will witness significant improvements in the coming months.
Sharing the details about the proposed visit of the Chief Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel said that a programme of the Chief Minister has been scheduled at Sector-12 on April 4 at 11 am. He said that the Chief Minister has announced several important initiatives for Faridabad in the Budget.
He urged citizens to participate in large numbers in the programme so that issues related to the city’s development can be presented effectively.
