CGC University, Mohali Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal Launches ‘Great Navbharat Mission Foundation’
S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Founder Chancellor of CGC University, Mohali, has announced the launch of his flagship non-governmental organization (NGO), the ‘Great Navbharat Mission Foundation’. The objective of this initiative is to extend the university’s legacy of academic excellence to every section of society, spreading the light of education to all strata. This NGO will not only contribute to the field of education but will also work for the needy in society in various other sectors, including healthcare, medical facilities, and environmental sustainability.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said, “Education has always been the heart of our mission, but the true spirit of nation-building lies in touching people’s lives beyond the classroom. The Great Navbharat Mission Foundation is my commitment to creating an ecosystem where education, healthcare, and environmental responsibility go hand-in-hand. Our goal is to empower every section of society to live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.”
Arsh Dhaliwal, the young Managing Director of CGC, stated that while the CGC Group, under the leadership of S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, is already making large-scale efforts for social service, the spirit of social service will be further enhanced through this NGO platform. He added that with this initiative, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal has reiterated his responsibility to make India an educated, empowered, and environmentally conscious nation.
As part of its initial campaign to bridge the digital divide, the Foundation made significant contributions to local institutions. It distributed computers and furniture to Machhli Kalan Government School, Jhanjeri Government School, and Seva Kendras.
