Barinder Kumar Goyal Pays Tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru

Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal today paid floral tributes and bowed in respect to the great revolutionary martyrs—Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Sukhdev, and Shaheed Rajguru—at the martyrdom memorial located near the ancient Shiva Temple on the occasion of Shaheedi Diwas.

Addressing the gathering, the Cabinet Minister said that it is because of great heroes like Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru that we are breathing in the open air of freedom today. He stated that these revolutionaries not only challenged British rule but also ignited a new sense of awareness among the youth of the country through their ideas and courage.

He further added that the vision of the martyrs was not limited to independence alone; rather, they dreamed of a just society based on equality and brotherhood. He emphasized that it is our responsibility today to work together to fulfill their dreams and to further strengthen peace, unity, and harmony in society.

The Cabinet Minister also conveyed a message to the younger generation, urging them to draw inspiration from the lives of the martyrs and move forward on the path of truth, honesty, and patriotism. He said that the role of youth is crucial in the progress of the nation, and if they move in the right direction, the country can reach new heights.

He also stated that the Punjab Government is committed to preserving the legacy of the martyrs and connecting the youth with patriotism, and that various awareness programs are being continuously organized for this purpose. During the event, officials from various departments, local representatives, members of social organizations, and a large number of residents were present. 

The attendees also paid tribute to the martyrs, and the entire atmosphere resonated with patriotic slogans. At the end of the program, everyone collectively took a pledge to work together for the progress of the nation.

On this occasion, Municipal Council President Kanta Goyal, along with various office bearers and a large number of city residents, was also present.
