PGI, Chandigarh & Fortis, Mohali conducted Blood Donation & Health Check-Up Camp at Aryans

Mohali : Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh with the support of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh & Fortis Hospital, Mohali today organized a Blood Donation & Free Health Check Up Camp at Aryans Campus, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Buta Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ghanaur, after lighting up the lamp. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.
Dr. Ekta, Senior Resident, Dept. of Blood Transfusion, PGI; Dr. Tejnoor Singh, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine; Dr. Priyanka Sarama, Senior Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dt Sonia Gandhi, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Fortis Hospital Mohali was the team of expert in this camp.
While addressing all present, DSP Ghanaur said that this is a noble initiative & every year this camp is conducted by Aryans Group of Colleges, he appreciated. He lauded the participants for their selfless contribution towards the society. He added that the group is regularly conducting many health care awareness drives and rally in nearby villages which is remarkable.
A 7 members team of blood transfusion from PGI, Chandigarh under the leadership of Dr. Ekta conducted a thorough medical checkup of voluntary donors and selected the eligible donors to donate blood. A 6 member team from Fortis Hospital conducted a free health check-up Camp.
Dr. Tejnoor & Dr. Ekta appreciated the special initiative taken by Aryans to provide health care services to meet the needs of the Indian population & also to meet the immediate health care needs of the marginalized community through this health camp. Dr. Priyanka & Dt. Gandhi also applauded Aryans for reaching out to the needy people with health solutions.
