Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra awareness camp on BBBP, women-centric schemes held at Panchayat Sattani in Udhampur

Udhampur : As a part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Department of Social Welfare, orchestrated a compelling awareness camp on “Nasha Mukht Bharat,” “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP),” and various women-centric schemes here at Panchayat Sattani.
Organised under the guidance of District Social Welfare Officer, Kanika Gupta, the program aimed to combat drug abuse, particularly among the youth. It also sought to enlighten the community about pension schemes and women-centric initiatives.The primary objective was to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drugs, especially among the youth, inspiring them to embrace positive lifestyles.
Participants, including Sarpanch Sattani, healthcare professionals, gram sevak, senior citizens, members of self-help groups (SHGs), Anganwadi workers (AWWs), and local residents, were informed about women-centric schemes and the BBBP campaign.
