Rent Assessment Committee meet held at Udhampur

Udhampur : The District Level Rent Assessment Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today.Detailed discussions were held on various aspects regarding the fixation of rent for private buildings hired for housing government offices.
During the meeting, 15 rent cases pertaining to different government departments were approved by the committee.DC asked concerned officers who have hired private buildings as accommodation to expedite the process of remaining cases so that owners may not suffer and pending rent assessment cases could be settled in a time-bound manner.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr Vinod Kumar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral and other officers, as well as owners of buildings, were present in the meeting.
