Samba admin finalises arrangements for counting of votes

SAMBA : District Panchayat Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Samba, Rohit Khajuria today held an elaborate review meeting with Election Nodal Officers and Returning Officers to finalise the arrangements for counting of District Development Council election votes.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra; PO ICDS Anu Bhel; General Manager DIC, Sansar Chand; Deputy District Election Officer, Rajeev Magotra besides other nodal officers, returning officers and other election officials.The counting of the votes is scheduled to be held on December 22, 2020.Arrangements like security, media room, control room, counting room, medical facility, fire tenders and others were finalized.It was informed that the voting will be held at Vimal Muni college of education Vijaypur.The Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis upon all the election officers to strictly follow the Election Commission guidelines and ensure that the election process is completed in a smooth and transparent manner.
