Samba : The half yearly mail of Charak and Sadotra fraternity was organized on Sunday at Data Talab, the place of Jai Data Ranpat Dev. In this Mail, about five lakh devotees from all over the country received the blessings of Jai Data Ranpat Dev Ji after taking bath in the holy lake at Dev Sthan Data Talab Birpur.

Devotees started queuing up from 4 o’clock in the morning to have darshan in the darbar of Shree Data Dev Maharaj ji. As the sun rose, the number of devotees increased. The people got a lot of benefit from the convenient arrangements made for the devotees by the Jai Data Ranpat Dev Ji Committee.

Devotees first stood in queue to have darshan of Jai Data Ranpat Dev Ji after taking bath in the holy lake of Jai Data Ranpat Dev Ji. They had to wait for hours to reach the  darbar. Although the committee had made many convenient arrangements for everyone, but the number of devotees was too much to handle.

A lot of contribution was made by the administration and the police for this. A huge Bhandara was also organized for the people at Data Talab. People from far off places shaved their children at the Data Darbar as per their vows.

As the evening wore on, the devotees of Data ji left for Data ji’s native village Birpur, where the disciples of Data ji gave their presence through Jatar throughout the night. There itself, The Jogis also told the devotees by singing the story based on the life of Jai Data Ranpat Dev Maharaj Ji through Karkars that even in difficult circumstances, Shree Data Ranpat Dev Maharaj  ji had fulfilled the duty of being a true Sarpanch, and did not deviate from the truth at all.

He did justice. However, the miscreants killed Shree Data Ranpat Dev  ji by deceit, the result of which he had to suffer very badly.Swaran Singh Charak, President of Jai Data Ranpat Dev Ji Committee Birpur, said that better arrangements have been made for the people by the committee.

Surinder Choudhary Additional SP Samba, Javaid Iqbal Tabassam, Dy SP (T) Samba-Kathua  Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Kavinder Gupta, Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K,Former Minister of Commerce and Industries Chander Prakash Ganga ,Former Minister of Revenue Raman Bhalla, Former Minister of Labour and Employment  Surjeet Singh Salathia, Former Ministers, MLAs  and Civil society of the government attended the Data Darbar.

A separate market was made for the children on this occasion. A toy market was specially decorated here for the entertainment of the children, where the children had a lot of fun. A swing market was also set up there for the children.
