Ramban : To take stock of progress of work on under construction Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) Yatri Niwas, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam visited the construction site at Chanderkote today.He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma; Executive Engineer, PWD Vinod Gupta; Tehsildar Ramban and officers from Jal Shakti, JPDCL and other concerned departments.The DC advised the Executing Agency CPWD to work in double shifts to complete the project within the stipulated timeline.
He also passed directions to all stakeholder departments to ensure that all connected utilities like power and water supply are put in place well ahead of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatri 2022.The DC was informed by the Site Engineers that the required men, material and machinery are available at the construction site and the work on Yatri Niwas is nearing completion.The DC informed the executing agency that a Committee headed by ADC has been constituted to monitor progress of the work and coordinate among the stakeholders departments and agencies for smooth execution. The modalities for execution of the water supply plan approved for providing water supply to Yatri Niwas was also discussed with the Jal Shakti department. The Executive Engineer JPDCL was directed to ensure power supply to the Yatri Niwas.
