Ramban : Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today distributed Maize Threshers among the farmers of four Panchayats of Khari zone provided by the Krishi Bhawan Maitra, Ramban under CAPEX Budget – 2022-23.
District Agriculture Officer Ramban, R C Pandoh, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer, Sudhir Manhas and other officers and farmers were present on the occasion.
It was informed that a total 145 Maize Threshers were distributed in the district under which all the Panchayats and Municipality areas of District Ramban are covered.
The Maize Threshers have been provided to farmers for threshing purpose on community basis and will be monitored by PRIs of the concerned Panchayats. The total cost involved for the distribution of threshers at each Panchayat Level is Rs 4495000.
