DC Ramban discusses calendar of activities for Good Governance Week starting from December 19

Ramban : Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the calendar of activities to celebrate ‘Good Governance Week 2022’ with the theme-‘Sushasan Saptah – Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ scheduled to start from December 19 to 25, 2022 across the district.

The Deputy Commissioner passed directions to all the departments to intensify their activities as part of a nationwide campaign for the redressal of public grievances and improving online service delivery in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed the officers to highlight activities to be conducted by their respective departments on social media. “During the week-long event, all District and sectoral Officers of line departments will visit Tehsil and Panchayat Samiti Headquarters to redress the public grievances and improve service delivery,” he said.

The District heads of all departments were asked to share detailed text messages and HD pictures/ videos on daily basis about the on online services/services provided under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA)/ IGRAMS Portal during the Week Long program.

The Deputy Commissioner appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner as the Nodal Officer for the Good Governance Week, while a team comprising of the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Ramban and DIO, NIC, Ramban, was asked to coordinate uploading of events/success stories on the designated portal(s), during GGW 2022.

It was also decided that a workshop on ‘Good Governance Practices’ will be organized at DACR, Ramban, on December 23, 2022, for finalizing Vision Document 2047.
