ADDC Rajouri Pawan Parihar reviews implementation of PM-KISAN

Rajouri : Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Parihar today chaired a meeting of Agriculture Officers to review the status of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) in the district.

At the outset, the Chief Agriculture Officer Rajouri, Sohan gave a detailed presentation on the PM-KISAN schemes and other schemes being implemented by the Agriculture Department.

The ADDC acknowledged the progress made by the district and complimented the efforts of the department for successfully implementing PM-KISAN and other schemes and taking it forward.

The ADDC exhorted the officers and field staff to work in tandem to make PM-KISAN a success in the district and help needy farmers across the district. He also advised them to spread awareness among the rural populace about the various schemes and benefits associated with the program.

He also discussed the challenges faced by the departments and the solutions identified. The ADDC gave instructions to clear the pendency on account of eKYC and NPCI of all eligible beneficiaries whose “land seeded” record has been uploaded on the PM Kissan portal so that all eligible farmers can get the benefit of 13th Installment which is due for payment in the coming days.

Further, he gave instructions to identify the different categories of beneficiaries of PM Kissan who were not having land ownership. He expressed confidence that with proper convergence and diligent efforts, PM-KISAN will become a success in the district, and the farmers’ shall reap the benefit of the scheme.
