VC DDC Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir reviews development profile of Wavoora constituency

Kupwara : Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the pace of progress of Wavoora DDC constituency of Kupwara district, here today.

The Vice Chairman reviewed work wise status of development schemes and welfare programmes and received feedback from the officers, especially Chief Education Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and concerned BDO.

Addressing the meeting, the Vice Chairman stressed upon the officers to work with added dedication and ensure completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated time frame.He asked officers to redouble their efforts in view of weather conditions so that the funds provided by the Government are utilized in full.

The Vice Chairman said that people at grass roots level are expressing their satisfaction towards the best efforts of District Administration in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of the area and urged upon the officers to further accelerate the developmental tempo in the district.

Among others, CEO Kupwara, CAO, CAHO, DIO, BDO, concerned officers and officials attended the meeting.
