DEO Kulgam reviews health, purification of Electoral roll

Kulgam: In order to review Health and Purificationof Electoral Rolls in Kulgam, a meeting of officers held under the chairmanship of District Election Officer Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here at mini- Secretariat.The meeting was attended by EROs- Additional District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Noorabad and AEROs- All Tehsildars and Nodal Officer SVEEP.

During the meeting a threadbare discussion on processing of forms viz 6/6a/7/8/8a was held.The DEO also instructed to ensure 100% photo coverage of Electoral Rolls.He also stressed to ensure 100% issuance of EPICs among voters.DEO also directed to hold voter awareness camps and voter awareness contests.The DEO also reviewed facilities at Polling stations and directed to ensure proper and adequate facilities at all polling stations across the district.
