DDC Kick starts Kisan Pakhwada programme at Kulgam
The District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today kick started fortnightly Kisan Pakhwada programme by inaugurating a mega Kisan Mela cum Exhibition here at Rest House Chawalgam.The mela was organised by Agriculture and allied departments hereand about 200 progressive farmers participated in Kisan Mela with proper social distancing.Stalls show casing high yielding vegetable seeds, crops and other machinery were also set- up by the Agriculture and allied departments.Programmes under Kisan Pakhwada will continue in the district till July 21 with a mission to cover all farm operating families under KCC Scheme and to propagate and promote modern technological interventions among farmers for better crop productivity to double the income of farmers.Later KCC cards were also distributed among farmers
