DC Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat presides over weekly Block Diwas at Manzgam

Kulgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Wednesday presided over weekly Block Diwas at Manzgam.The program witnessed active participation of people from Manzgam, Watoo, Tangmarg, Chogalpora, Halen, Gujjar Basti, Avil and other villages besides PRIs also participated in this grievance redressal camp.

The visiting delegations of public and the PRIs apprised the DC of the grievances and developmental needs in their areas viz. development of Playfield and early commissioning of Filtration plant at K.B.Pora, development of Hallan road, augmentation of water supply scenario and establishment of timber Depot at Gandwani, repairs of irrigation canal at Watoo Koreal besides others.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.

He directed ACD to start work on a playfield in K.B.Pora village.He also directed officers to ensure prompt and speedy redressal of issues and demands of people.Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kulgam, Mohmmad Imran Khan also briefed about the action taken on various grievances and issues raised in previous Block Diwas.

SDM Noorabad, ACR, ACD, CMO, BMO, Tehsildar, BDO and other officers also attended the programme.Later, the DC also visited the playfield at Manzgam and interacted with the players there.

He also approved Rs.10 lac for the development and extension of the said playfield.Meanwhile, Block Diwas functions were also held at Block Kulgam and Devsar, where concerned officers listened to issues and grievances of people.
