DC Kathua Rahul Pandey inspects ongoing works, proposed sites for Bus Stand, KV at Bani

Kathua : Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Pandey today visited remote block Bani and took stock of ongoing works besides inspecting proposed sites for Bus stand and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bani. The DC was accompanied by ADC Basohli, CPO Kathua, Tehsildar Bani and other concerned officers.

The DC visited site identified for Bus Stand and Kendriya Vidyalaya, directed BRO authorities to complete the ongoing concrete bridge work over River Sewa at village Asso within given time frame so that the existing Bailey Bridge shall be shifted to approach road connecting Kendriya Vidyalaya to provide smooth road connectivity.

While enquiring about the status of bridge at Mela Ground Bani, the DC was apprised that new drawings have been submitted to the higher authorities for vetting and subsequent approval owing to shift in alignment.

The DC laid thrust on taking up matters related to road connectivity in remote areas on priority basis so as to benefit the inhabitants of far flung areas of the district.
