Doda : The Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) cleared 13 cases in a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, here today.The committee discussed 21 cases of various Government Departments including Police, FCS &CA, Social Welfare, Ayush ISM, I&FC, RDD, Legal Metrology, Health, NYK, Fire and Emergency and Prosecution during the meeting.
While the committee approved rent for 13 cases, 8 others were deferred for want of further clearance from the intending department. The chairman also sought an explanation from the department heads who remained absent during the meeting.
The DC directed the planning section to ask SDM Thathri to re-verify the title verification of the rent assessment case of the Fire Department concerning the fire station building at Thathri.The meeting was attended by SE PWD, SE Hydraulics, ASP Doda, CPO Doda, and other concerned heads and representatives of various departments.
