DEO Doda meets reviews special Summary Revision process
Pulls up poor performing officials
Doda : District Election Officer Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of the EROs, AEROs and BLOs to review the progress of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls at the both level.
It was informed that apart from EROs and AEROs, 512 Booth Level Officers, supervised by 51 supervisors are actively involved in the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to October 1st, 2022 as qualifying date.
The Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls shall continue till October 25, 2022.The DEO pulled up 17 BLOs for below 25% performance and asked them to complete the task before the last date by going door to door for filling form 6, 6B, 7 and 8.
“Special summary Revision is crucial for inclusion of new eligible voters to ensure they participate in the largest democratic process in choosing their choicest representatives” he said.
The DEO directed the concerned to monitor the progress of all the BLOs on a daily basis and take strict action against the poor performing officials.
ADC, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti; ADC Bhaderwah, Chowdhary Dil Mir; Dy District Election Officer, Amresh Kotwal; ENT Angrez Singh, EROs, AEROs, Supervisors and BLOs attended the meeting.
