Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of all divisions of Jal Shakti department to review the progress of the schemes taken up under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held with regard to formulation of DPRs, tendering of projects, number of appraisals conducted, accord of administrative approvals, tenders allotted. It was informed that all the 185 schemes have been tendered and 57 among them have been allotted to the contractors.
The DDC instructed the concerned to start the execution of work on all the allotted schemes by 31st of October. He also directed to appoint a nodal officer at SE’s office who shall follow the bills submitted online for timely release of payment to the contractors.
The meeting was attended by SE Hydraulics, CPO Doda, DPO ICDS Doda, CEO Doda, DSWO Doda, Ex Ens, AEE/ TO in SE office, EO MC Doda and other concerned officials.
