Anantnag : The District Development Council member (DDC) Bashir Ahmad Pathan today chaired a Mega Block Diwas function at Dachnipora to listen to the public issues.
BDO Dachnipora, Ali Ashfeen Khan; AEE R&B Dachnipora, ZEO, TSWO and other block level officers besides PRIs and people in large number participated in the block diwas.
Addressing the people, the DDC member urged the public to avail benefits of online facilities. He said the Government is committed to provide more and more online facilities to the public and by now 184 services are available online pertaining to various departments, adding that the people need not to visit Government offices for any service now.
People can complain at the administrative level if they observe any difficulty in receiving online facilities, the DDC member added.Replying to the demands of the public regarding water supply, he said that Jal Shakti Department (PHE) has been made accountable to ensure potable drinking water supply to every household.
The DDC member also assured the public that the all efforts shall be taken to strengthen power supply in the area as the power infrastructure is being upgraded to a better level.
He asked people, especially the farming community to take maximum benefits of the schemes like PM- Kisan.Earlier, PRIs and senior citizens spoke and put forth their day to day developmental issues of their concerned areas.
The DDC member heard them patiently and directed the concerned officers for disposal of the same in a time bound manner.Officers and officials of various departments on the occasion also provided awareness to the people regarding their respective schemes and also listened to their grievances for resolution.
