DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal Leads Successful Public Outreach Camp in Moughla Block

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, demonstrated a proactive and community-oriented approach by presiding over a highly successful public outreach camp in the Moughla block. The event provided a platform for constructive dialogue, allowing both the public and their representatives to voice a wide array of concerns.
These included the much-needed macadamization of roads, the imperative need for the upgradation and adequate staffing of government institutions, resolving the issue of water scarcity, and enhancing healthcare infrastructure, among other vital topics.
Numerous specific demands were raised during the event, encompassing concerns such as the road from Boman Gala to Potha Gala, the road from Kanchi Morh to Simbal Gala, repair and renovation of various GMS Buildings, the road from Simbal Gala to Loha Khater, provision of electricity poles, and the upgradation of the Methayani playground, among others.
The event also provided government officers with the opportunity to disseminate valuable information about district-level schemes and programs aimed at enhancing the community’s well-being. The public was encouraged to actively engage and take advantage of the benefits offered by these initiatives.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the District Administration’s commitment to providing quality essential services directly to the people. He expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders and urged them to persist in their hard work for the betterment of the local populace.
Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal assured the public that their grievances and concerns had been diligently documented and a staged approach would be adopted to address genuine issues, with relevant departments playing a pivotal role in resolving these matters.

The Deputy Commissioner provided firm assurances to address the road concerns spanning from Boman Gala to Potha Gala and from Kanchi Morh to Simbal Gala. He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to swiftly resolve these issues.
Regarding the pressing demand for staff at the Harichuma sub-centre, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to address this issue promptly. In response to the road concerns in Harichuma and Treru, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned Executive Engineer (XEN) to expedite the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) without delay, emphasizing the urgency of resolving this issue.
The Deputy Commissioner also addressed the issue pertaining to the Power Development Department (PDD) sector, instructing the concerned Executive Engineer (XEN) to actively pursue the matter within the RDSS Scheme. Additionally, regarding forest clearance issues for development projects, the Deputy Commissioner assured that he would take up the matter with the relevant authorities.
The public expressed appreciation for the commendable efforts of the district administration in implementing schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission, acknowledging the positive changes brought about by these initiatives.
To address the critical issue of staff shortages in schools, the Deputy Commissioner issued directives to the CEO of the Education Department. A systematic staff rationalization was emphasized to meet growing demands. Likewise, immediate measures were instructed to address the staff shortfall within the Health Department.
The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the administration’s paramount focus on delivering piped water connections to every household in the district through the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). He emphasized that the administration is relentlessly working towards achieving this vital objective.Throughout the event, swift and decisive actions were taken to address some of the issues on the spot.
The Weekly Block Diwas held at Moughla block marked a significant success by enhancing public satisfaction and more efficient service delivery. This initiative fosters direct interaction between the general public and district authorities, reflecting the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
