Udhampur : The District Level Rent Assessment Committee meeting was held today under the Chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex. Senior Superintendent of Police Joginder Singh Sambyal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, and other concerned officers, along with building owners attended the meeting.
Detailed deliberations took place on various aspects related to determining the rent for private buildings utilized for government offices. In the meeting, the Committee approved 19 rent cases concerning different government departments.
Deputy Commissioner urged the officers responsible for hiring of private buildings for government offices to expedite the remaining cases, ensuring a timely resolution to avoid inconvenience to building owners. Furthermore, the DC directed the concerned departments to ensure the prompt disbursement of rent and urged the owners to maintain the assets and ensure better facilities for rentee Government offices.
