DC Udhampur Saloni Rai flags off Tiranga Rally on Jal Jeevan Mission in Udhampur

Udhampur :To raise awareness about the Jal Jeevan Mission’s “Har Ghar Nal Se Jal” scheme, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai flagged off a Tiranga Rally from MH Chowk Udhampur today. The rally, which was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Joginder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, SE Jal Shakti Department R K Mahajan, Executive Engineer Ashok Sharma, and other officials, aimed to educate the public about water conservation, BBBP, My Vote My Right and related initiatives.
While briefing the media, DC highlighted the rally’s objective of educating the public about BBBP, voter rights, water conservation practices, such as rainwater harvesting, traditional water body restoration and responsible water usage. She urged the district’s residents to adopt water-saving habits and use natural resources wisely for the benefit of future generations.The rally passed through important locations, such as MH Chowk on NH, New Bus Stand, Domail Chowk, Barrian, DC Office, Slathia Chowk, and concluded at the Jal Shakti Office in Udhampur.
