DC Ramban Mussarat Islam presides over mega event at Ramsoo under Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir, Digital JK Week campaigns

Ramban : District Administration Ramban has intensified activities under Bhrashtachar Mukt Jammu and Kashmir and digital JK Week campaigns across the district to sensitize the people about various government’ s online services and initiatives taken to eradicate the corruption from the society and system as well.
Presiding over a mega event at the Sub-divisional headquarter Ramsoo, the Deputy Commissioner Ramban, highlighted various schemes and initiatives taken by the government to provide corruption free governance in a hassle free and transparent manner.
BDC Chairperson Ramsoo, Shafiq Ahmed Katoch, DDC Member Bashir Naik, SDM Ramsoo, Ghansham Basotra, Tehsildar, Naser Javed, BDO, Ram Pal, and various senior officers, PRIs and general public attended the function.
Mentioning the role of PRIs and officers in making corruption free UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the Deputy Commissioner asked them to work on Digital mode to provide quality and timely services to people. He said that the government has adopted a zero tolerance policy against corruption.
He said there are more than 600 services available online in the district Ramban and all services of the revenue department are also available online. He said the online shift of services has paved the way for transparent, accountable and accessible government-to-citizen transactions.
He also directed to raise awareness about IT-related initiatives, such as the “Empowerment-Janbhagidari Portal.” This portal plays a pivotal role in establishing a transparent system of governance. Simultaneously, the “Digital Week” will be celebrated, highlighting the significance of digital initiatives in government processes.
During the programme participants were also briefed about various online services of the revenue and other departments. The Departments also highlighted their point being implemented to eradicate corruption and promote transparent and accountable governance.
Eelier, the Deputy Commissioner greeted the teachers on Teachers’ day and urged them to focus on the students’ education besides developing their overall personality so that they become good citizens.
