DC Baramulla Minga Sherpa extends warm greetings to Sikh community on Baisakhi

 

Baramulla : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today extended warm greetings to the Sikh community and everyone else celebrating the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. This vibrant festival, celebrated with immense fervor and joy by Sikhs around the world, holds significant cultural and religious importance as it marks the onset of harvesting season and the beginning of the Sikh New Year.

On the occasion, Minga Sherpa visited the Chatti Padshahi Gurdwara in Baramulla, joined devotees to actively participate in their religious festivities, and extended his best wishes for a prosperous and blissful Baisakhi. During his visit, the DC also conducted a comprehensive assessment of the arrangements made for the seamless celebration of the occasion to ensure necessary measures are in place to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable experience for the devotees.
