DC Doda Harvinder Singh flags-off the EVM, VVPAT Demonstration Van

Doda : Under the initiative of Election Commission of India, the District Election office Doda started a campaign regarding the demonstration of the use of EVM and VVPAT in the elections.District Election Officer Harvinder Singh flagged off the EVM and VVPAT DEMON’S VAN which shall move across the district to promote the awareness about the casting the vote by using EVM and VVPAT.
During the flag off ceremony, the officers and officials of district election office Doda were present. Through the campaign the voters shall be given hands-on training to use the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and verify their casted vote for the candidate they vote, in Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
